Entropy

Entropy

Physics is full of mantras which is interestingly weird and difficult to understand .Entropy is one among them . As you asked about entropy its basically taken to be analogous to energy but actually considering the statistical mechanics its well explained to be mixedupness (used by GIBBS) . We can well take entropy to be the molecular disorder in macroscopic system . In, a system microscopic entities have several microstates which they can occupy . If a entity has ''g'' microstates then ,
Entropy (S)=k log (g)
Considering this definition , we can take a system with subatomic particles and each particle can have many quantum states(possible energy levels or flavors ) and here we can get its entropy using the above formula .So, if we are considering a system with sub-atomic particle then obviously entropy encounters there.
